Just some info On Ceramic pads
1. One of the most widely accepted perks to having ceramic pads over semi-metallic is that there is very little to no brake dust therefore keeping your wheels clean longer and build up on brake parts very small.
2. They dont heat up as much as fast. Ceramic pads do heat up, and just as semi metallic do, they transfer this heat not only directly by friction with the rotor but by pure radiation heat from the pad. BUT, the ceramic takes longer to heat up to this degree, and wont stay that hot as long as a semi-metallic pad will.
3. (Not sure if its proven yet but from what i hear from feedback from customers at work this is true) Ceramic pads seem to last much longer especially when chanegd with new/turned rotors.
