i have a friend with a GA with the 3400 and she has around 70k and the gaskets have been replaced twice. now the 2nd set is just starting to leak. i imagine in the next 15k to 20k she will be on set 3.

well, whoever is ficking it, isnt using the right gasket or something. GM fixed the gasket and it should greatly reduce the chances of it happening ever again. pretty sure mine was leaking a bit when i bought it. replaced close to 60k. im at 108k now with no problems.

they probably using the felpro gaskets.

but i have headr of people still having issues after the new GM gaskets are installed. i think a lot has to do with the install job and the driver and driving conditions.
