Just get some name brand copper plugs. Copper has less resistance than platinum and thus allow more energy through the plug. The +4s and what not distribute the spark better across the CC (with less power/spark) but its really not needed on most newer vehicles. You should replace em more often, say 50K miles, but they are less expensive and give better performance. My stock ones (platinum) were pretty worn after ~47K miles so out they went for some new copper ones.
