as far as leds, it's simple. either put three leds in series, connecting the short leg to the long leg, or use a resistor in series with each individual led. not sure what the problem is

ive used cathodes b4 and i cant belive how brittle they are. ill only use something like that on my computer but not my car. plus, LED's are way brighter IMO, plus, most of the $45.00 was towards wires, soldering iron, solder, wire clippers, aquatic tubes. i have all of that now so if i were to do it again, it would only cost me the price of LED's alone. IMO, much more effective than anything!!
