Where I live loud exhaust is ok only if you are not he the gas all the time. I know a guy who had a 98 Z71 with straight pipes and he never got a ticket and it was loud as hell he also took out he cat I've seen cops follow and he never even got a warning. I have seen thoes cut outs on the T.V. show TRUCKS they are cool as hell but i dont think that there would be much of a power increase at all 4hp at least
