I am going on the first year of having done this and I am SO sorry I did it. Took about 40 cans of paint and after sitting in the sun over a summer it started to chip and fade really bad to the point where I would have to redo it or just replace the vinyl. I am now installing new vinyl in the car so it looks clean and will last the life of the car and give me the look I am going for. The other option is to use a dye not a paint a dye. You have to be very careful when buying the dyes because 90% of the time they are paints of some sort. If you want pics of my dash, doors, and panels PM me and I will email them to you. After you see them you will change your mind about paint
