1) Ontario is private so we pay through the nose for insurance.

2) I emailed my insurance company and it looks like I will be having a discussion with them. I asked them what kind of modifications are allowed and so on. First SENTENCE that came back was "Most insurance companies do not like modifications if they are to enhance performance for street racing. So any engine modifications are queried."

So they have classified me as a street racer even though I have never done it. I will be emailing them back and basically writing a rebuttal. That is unacceptable if they automatically think you are a street racer just because you like to modify a vehicle.
