wow im shocked your insurance rates are that high...check progressive by chance? they seem to have some good going rates.... hell i bought a 96 mustang cobra SVT and for full coverage with deductibles of $500 on collision and comprehensive, my 6 month quote was only $780. i dropped it to $1000 comprehensive and collision and the 6 month quote was $680.
definetely shop around all the companies cause there are many factors, some of them only want accidents/tickets that are 36 months old, others want 5 years old.
