wounds from working on cars are great, my dumbass always ignores them until im done with my project and they are completely packed with grease and grime and totally disgusting, then they are so jagged they heal shitty and always tear back open. Good times. Remember not to beat on new pads too hard until they wear in otherwise you will glaze them and they wont work as well. Im glad you are learning this stuff, it is fun to figure out and the feelings of accomplishment rock.
