My car ran like crap when I drove it for a week before I brought it to the shop. The engine is going to start making a ticking noise, your car will shake a lot when stopped at lights or just in park, and your not going to have oil (all ='s not good). Get it fixed and pay the money. I just paid $1500 to get mine fixed 2 weeks ago (luckily he knocked $200 off of the bill).
