It would probably work just fine. If you run it at high volume a lot tho, just turn down the settings on the amp a little. My buddy's got a 600rms bazooka NOS edition sub powered by a 850rms amp. With the amp settings turned up, it sounds like its gonna die (and it would), but we just turned them down a ways and he runs the stereo at full volume no problem and it sounds like its doing fine.
