OK, no need for the flex coupler there. There is one in the front by the engine and that is good enough. Just use rubber hangers for the rest.

I would recommend a Moroso Spiral Flow muffler. It will still be loud, but in my experiences and opinion, they sound better than a glasspack. Possibly use something like a Flowmaster Hushpower or Thrush Turbo-Tube (if they even still make those).

For the tip, I know there are places to get a 4-1 header collector that is flat. That would be a good place to start.
