Those Line output coverters come with 2sets of wires to hook to each rear speaker, and from experience you don't need the other speaker hooked up. If you get the one with the adjustable level I would turn it all the way down first before adjusting the level then turn your radio up to a comfortable level and adjust to where you feel comfortable.
