Its always been my experience that any round speaker sounds better than any oval speaker.
But since SQ is subjective, to each their own.
A 6X9 will provide more bass. But in my eyes not as good SQ.
If anyone cares to look, you will notice none of the top SQ names run any type of oval speaker.
