Well, I reconnected the IAT sensor and disconnected the battery for 15 minutes, as recommended by another thread on this forum. Shifting seemed to be back to normal so I turned off the car. I turned it on again a minute or two later, and the hard shifting is back.
00olds Alero: the first time we turned on the car after the sound system installation, we didnt even have the intake tube on. This was no more than five seconds though. After that we turned it off, then put everything back together, including the plug on the mass airflow sensor.
Vtolds and [Ion] C2, after reading this post, I dont know if it changed your opinion, but if the car is trying to figure out how I like to drive, do you know how long it will take before it is back to normal?
