If the MAF is plugged in. Then it sounds like the wire broke inside of the harness plug. It happened to me before. A new harness plug to splice in to replace it is 30 bucks from the dealership.

The MAF harness plug sucks if u unplug it too much. Its not getting the voltage for the computer to run normal so it thinks the maf is unplugged 24/7.
