Finally got the car fixed. After taking my car to 5 different mechanics, the fifth one suggested I take it to the GM dealer, so I did. Turns out that when I pulled the power amp cable through the firewall, one of the wires got torn off the computer's harness. The dealership then fixed the wire on it, and now my car is ok. Thank you for your input everyone, I really am glad that there is lots of support here.
