water leak
Condition 2 (Alero, Grand Am)
Some customers may comment about a mildew odor or wet carpet on the passenger side.
Cause
This condition may be caused by water entering the fresh air inlet to the HVAC case due to poor sealing of the air inlet screen to the fresh air inlet opening.
Correction
Refer to Corporate Bulletin Number 01-08-57-003.
Ok fine i see that there, but ewhat in gods name is 01-08-57-003? IN other words what do i need to fix this? I went out to my car yesterday after work after a freak rain storm and my carpet was soaked, i could have fished out of that thing! I need a new carpet and plan on getting one son but not if its gonna get soaked contantly. What do i d to fix it?
