I used to have an aluminum bezel. While the CF will bend and fit through the gauge openings, the aluminum one will not. You have 2 choices, either dremel out a slot to slip it in, or do as I did and dremel out the entire stock piece, and replace it with aluminum. But for the cf, save yourself a lot of time by just slipping it through the opening.
