You gotta connect the RED wire on your CD player to the accessory ignition wire or a switch or something to turn it on, it doesn't work through the harness it's goofy.
Your sony might not have the dim/bright option w/ a wire and is just one brightness at all times, too. Is it a high class one or budget?
