Also all burned CDs must be finalized otherwise they wont play. i got a 97 buick and it wont play burned cds no how no way, unless its a disc to disc copy!

I finally talked to the person who was the first owner of the car (my mom) about this, and she said that she only used the CD player 3 times in 1999 and then never used it again (and it worked fine when she did). She also never used the tape player. Anyway, since my CD player is essentially new, is there a possibility that I just have dust in it, or something? I can try blowing in compressed air or something if that would help.
