It's definitely flexible and doesn't feel sturdy at all... After all, that edge is only 1.86mm as measured! Most of the areas are around 2.5 I'd guess, I didn't measure that much of it.
On another note, I gotta say i haven't had much to take pics of recently, but I really like my
new lens after taking some of these pics..
(it's a 16-50mm zoom f/2.8)
