well, to figure out why its popping, hmmmm, set your parking brake, and then put into park, shut it off, let it sit, and then when you restart, KEEP THE PARKING BRAKE ON! and put into drive, if it does not clunk, it was that it had tension on the park gear, and if it does, we have some problems that lie somwhere
