yea, when something is wrong with the car, all the shift pressures will be raised hence the harder shifts. thats called safe mode.

When I put it into drive it clunks hard like the rpms are too high, but they aren't. It clunks every time I take it out of drive and put it back into drive. It also clunks slightly when going into "R" but no where near as bad when it is being put into "D". It also still clunks when the parking brake is on. I scanned the vehicle PCM through the service connector using AutoTap and the only code that was present was P0102 with the details mass air flow circuit sensor low frequency. Upon looking that up, I realized that has to do with the air intake, not he transmission. So if its in safe mode, it didn't log it as a code. Any suggestions?
