That black cylinder thing is a bass-blocker...it blocks out the lower frequencies from going to speakers that can't handle them. Wire the new speakers exactly the same as the stock ones were wired. ( This shows the head unit a little larger than a 4 ohm load on that channel, but it's not THAT much more, so there shouldn't be any worries of damaging the headunit ) If you wire the new speakers the same way as the stock ones were wired, then that gives you the option of running the tweeters or not. Give it a listen. If you don't want the tweeters to run alongside your new speakers, then it's just a matter of pulling off the sail panel and unplugging the little bugger :thumbsup:
