You don't use RTV on a multi layer steel head gasket. You spray both sides with some copper spray (if desired) and that's it. The contact surfaces of the head and block need to be prepped PERFECTLY to the Cometic specification or it
will leak. I'd highly suggest ARP head studs to complement a gasket like this.
