I would think that if you wanted to cut your top, the best thing to do would be to reinforce the bottom of the car, which is what i think they did with the cavs and suns, though they aren't as heavy as the Als. But after you cut it, you gotta find the right top. And since the structural balance has been disturbed, i'd be scared to drive the thing over 45 mphs.
