I never did an oil pump on an "N" body before, but I did it on my 85 "B" body. Actually I replaced it, before the engine went in the car.

As for the N, it doesn't seem like any thing runs under the pan, so it should be pretty straight forwward. It's just a matter of getting ALL the oil out, like whatever's hanging on the crank, pump, pick-up, etc. That stuff will be dripping on you the entire time
