99-04 Mustang GTs have 2 cams, where as the Mach 1s and Cobras have 4, Camaros only have 1 so thats why its more expensive to the mustangs. I've owned an 02 GT, 03 GT droptop and an 03 Cobra droptop and my dad had an 03 Mach 1 for a bit, I know the cars well and yes the LS1 camaros are stupid fast and cheap to mod but the chassis is about as stiff as a wet noodle and sitting in the car is like sitting in a cave.
Anyways we have now gotten way off topic, You could remove the bar but you will get some wind buffetting on the highway and such.
