I put the wing on when I was 16 and was too lazy/broke to fix the holes when I changed my mind. Spent my money on gas and bass instead.

OP, honestly, if you want them to look glossy and professional, "tint" is one thing that you want to take to a professional. Whether it be window and/or tails, save up some cash and go around getting some quotes. (unless you know someone)
I learned quite a few things over the years with DIY projects. You don't get the same "Look what I did!"
feeling when you have someone else help you out. But rather the "Look what I worked hard for to get the cash to do. And damn it looks nice!"
