Well it sounds to me some stories are being told becuase these is no way you beat a srt4 or turbo pt unless you have some mods that you have not posted because I got beat by at least car length and half against the turbo pt but maybe the people you ran into cant drive a stick or dont know how to launch or they just lost traction but the alero is like any other car it is slow stock but can be faster with some money spent.
