you're claiming that the amount of resistance is "pretty good"
it's not all about pressure, it's about power.
people comparing their boost psi level with supercharger kits think the one with the higher pressure is making more power. no, your exhaust is just far more restrictive and all that air is just backing up and not supplying the engine with more boom.
it's a "hEATON" as he says.. they generate a LOT of heat when they build pressure, and hotter air is less dense, less efficient in the combustion process, meaning less power. when I had a supercharger, my car would be slow as hell during the day when it was hot, but at night and cool temperatures it was quicker
