Assuming you have the ability to intercool a roots supercharger. On my engine the GM setup was integral to the manifold. Unless you're running a liquid to air intercooler, it becomes impractical and inefficient to route piping all over the place for a positive displacement s/c.

Turbo side is pretty hot piping, engine side is pretty cool piping. IATs ambient compared to 150+ with non-intercooled supercharger. Intercoolers are amazing. Doesn't matter how how it is outside, the air going in stays pretty cool.
