Dude, NY isn't checking every car for a muffler. Take your car to a trusted mechanic when you have to get an inspection and tell him to let it slide
I have a straight pipe and still passed
But, he's a cool guy so he let it go. Plus im not throwing off any codes so its all good.
Do it the right way though.....listen to the guys telling you what to get....cause they know what their talking about. Don't make your car sound like a civic!
