As long as you change it when you should, any recognizeable oil should be good. Up to now, I had been using 10w30 conventional oil. No brand in particular. Castrol, quaker, mobil 5000, and have not had any issues. I got my car with somewhere between 60 to 70 thousand miles. At this point, I am about to hit 180,000 and have not had any issues. Not even oil consumption (BTW I have a lead foot too
). So yeah, just change it when you should, and youll be safe.
