I put my ecotech up against my friend's 99 Grand Prix GT with the 3.8 and got destroyed.Â;-) My performance mods are an intake and an Pilot exhasut.Â;-) He has an intake and 2 Flowmaster Deltaflow 40 series.Â;-) About 70 - 80 more horsepower than my ecotech.Â;-) The Monte must not have had it floored.Â;-) I don't have the 5 speed though, but the difference can't be too much.

Lol. Alright.
Thanks what I was thinking.
Thanks for the reply.

I regularly race Grand Prix GT's (only 55-60 more HP) and beat them. I have a CAI and Cat-back exhaust, and my friends cars do to. One of them only just started beating me when he put in his DHP and then it is only by .1 to .2 seconds.
When I raced a stock 4-dr Grand Prix GT I was beating him consistently by over .5 secs. I even have a pic of us at half track with me well in the lead.
I am sure this Monte Carlo was giving it for all it's worth, they just aren't that fast.
FantomForceCustoms02 - Your car is probably slower due to it being auto (as you mentioned), being a 4 door (extra weight), having those heay 17's, the extra weight of the flip flop trunk, and other possible heavy car mods?
