I actually thought about using a 9005 bulb for the low beam. it wouldnt be too hard either. just get a 9005 plug (its not the same as 9006), cut off the 9006 and solder in the 9005, plug in the bulb and your done. i'm not sure about glare though...you'd have to be careful not to blind other drivers..and you could get pulled over for them being too overly bright. thats why HID's in our stock lowbeam housings are not a good idea...yeah its better lighting...but way too much glare.
