Factory Tweeters

Does anybody know what size the factory tweeters are? i'm gonna replace them and i would rather not modify the tweeter mounts, i just want a higher end replacement.

to that effect, I removed the stock tweeters and epoxyed in some new ones

the stockers are 3/4"

you sure? my 1" replacements fit in fine...

I put in 1" polk audio. Fit just fine

Ok I was wrong. The only reason was that many years ago I bought some 3/4" MTX tweets to replace the factories and they fit perfectly. Then I switch to some Infinity components with what I thought were 1" tweets that I had to modify the mounts to get to fit. After looking them up today the have 1 1/4" tweets.

So on that note 1" should fit.

mmm polk tweeters are niceee

the STOCK tweeters are 3/4 inch......but a 1" will fit in the plastic tweeter housing
