 i was driving today and my car shut down on me 4 times, i pulled over each time and i turned my car off then i turned it right back on, 10 min later, it shut down again, whats wrong. i know its not the battery or the alternator PLEASE TELL ME WHATS WRONG!!! |

a little vague, are you "sure" it's not your alt?
bad wiring, fuel pump wouldn't just cut out like that, and neither would coils really so.... um..... yeah no SES?

i know its not the alternator beacuse i was trying to go to sears to get my car aligned, then it started shuting down on the way. so wen i got there i told them the problem, they said it could be the alternator, they checked it and it wasnt.

we need some more symptoms. the first thing i would check is the little sensor for in your intake tube. the iat sensor is fidgety.

if it only did it when the car was warm, it could be your ignition module, check it out.

he just said it was all 3 of the fuel pumps...sheesh.....
i really had the same problem, no symptoms at all, it would just shut down and that was it...then it would restart...funky, never could figure it out so i just traded it in
