My car is picking up dust from the air like CRAZY! i think it was waxed wrong. is the wax either too thick or still on there or what?

that dust is pollen and all cars pick it up like whoa. get a california duster and dust it off. your wax isnt the issue, just good old mother earth

i ah take it that is was a good wax job then if it picks up every little spec? and would a regular duster work? or would that hurt the clear coat

bad wax job, good wax job makes no difference. if you dust your car and it still has a hard time coming off then theres a chance you need a wax job (as in you're car has virtually no wax on it) otherwise its normal to have dust.

just get a california car duster, like 20 bucks best investment i ever made. it wouldnt hurt your clearcoat but if your dust rag has dirt and whatnot in it theres a good chance you can put nice little spider swirls and scratches into the paint.

the first time i waxed the car and its picking up pollen.... it did get waxed but i didnt think it was bad
