One of the covers on my headlights is foggy. I've taken it apart and scrubbed the outside and inside real good, but it didn't help. I'm wondering if this is common. Is there anything polish that would help or should i just replace the headlight? Thanks.

wut you can do is wet sand the headlight with 1200 and buff it
it wont hurt the head light at all, works allot better then any plastic polish out there

It's not do to mosture, it's actually something that's permanatly on the plastic. Almost like a reaction to something used on it. I think i'll try the sanding method. Do i just use 1200 grit or do i use more than one grit to get it cleared up. Also do i use a buffing compound when i buff it? Thanks for help.

just regular 1200, then use a cutting compound with a cutting pad the a polishing compound with a polishing pad
have you had experience using a buffer if not then practice on something bigger then try the light

i've used the 3M plastic polish on the 240sx's stocker head lights and it worked pretty well considering they were 11 year old head lights.
