Angry Electric window

Hi Guys-girls & otherwise

Have a 2000 4 door alero. I am trying to replace the drivers side electric window

motor However having trouble getting the motor and drive mechanism out. I

tihnk I have all the bolts out Can any one help me with this. How does one

disconnect the cables from the drive mechanism. You know the plastic black and

white tingees. Appreciate any and all input. Ramjet

what you are talking about is the entire window regulator it comes out in one unit
here what ya do..........i take it the trim panel is off already so remove the door frame run channels, or in layment terms the "weather stripping" remove both front and rear window channles, you will see a 10 mm bolt for the rear and front and a phillpishead on the out side of the door so remove the mirror to gain acsess to the screw
so the next step is to remove the 2 10mm bolts on the window to the regulator so the window can move freely and then remove the run channles, and the window too
also remove the inner belt molding it will give ya more room, now you will see the bolts for the regulator should be5 or 6 10mm bolts unplug it and remove the regulator, with all the other parts out of the way you will see what you are talking about is 1 unit and does not come apart
