Rear Bumper (Big problem)
ok, i have a very horrifying issue. About a month ago my brother backed into my car.. no big deal right? a few scratches and a broken screw that holds the bumper on the quarter panal.. easy fix.
Well, heres the horrifying part. During a trip down the highway about 70 MPH, the wind caught the bumper and ripped it out a ways.. ripping it clean off the driver side mounting hardware.
And even MORE horrifying, I was cruising down the road today about 75 - 80 MPH and it was kinda windy, and my ENTIRE bumper cover was RIPPED from the rear end and skidded down the road, i turned around and picked it up.
My question- What would be the cheepest thing to do, Buy a Razzi rear bumper cover and call it a day, or go to a body shop and have them try to fix what broke.
My brother is going to pay for all damages caused, the lazy ass wipe. I got dual exhaust on the way, so i figured i might as well get the razzi rear bumper cover cause of the cuts in the bumper to put exhaust tips.
Another thing, how hard is it to install this razzi rear bumper cover, and do all mounting brackets, screws, bolts come with it? Mine are ripped apart. Everything holding the bumper on the car was ripped off. I now have this mongoloid lookin chunk of styrofoam showing and my rear end looks like it got smacked my a big ass paddle lol.
All tips are apprieciated.

first off, razzi is a lip kit. it goes along the bottom of your stock bumper cover. the forbidden and aas kits are replacements.
i would have the stock piece replaced. razzi would come after you fix that.

The razzi rear isn't an entire bumper cover it is a separate piece that attaches to your original bumper cover.

i have my stock rear cover, if you want it. i would sell it for really cheap, and all you would have to do is paint it. kind of far to ship, tho.
let me know.

Forbidden, never herd of it, and the ASS kit, i'll need a picture to freshen my memory.
What do these kits look like? I'd much rather have a new bumper cover.. one that is dual exhaust friendly.

Q: why did you drive that fast knowing the left part of your bumper cover already ripped off the same way?

you may be completely oblivious. in acuality, the razzi is the most unfriendly for dual exhaust because you must cut your stock bumper cover. please, dear god, do a little research before posting. you make me want to punch babies.

A: Going slow and getting passed by everyone.. im not grandma you know, that and the rear bumper doesnt cause the car to become non functional, just makes the car look funny without it. I'll be gettin a new one soon.

just get the stock replaced, and if you must, cut the passenger rear a bit to accept the dual exhaust.....getting a "kit" just for the rear would not look good with the rest of the car stock....save your money, and buy it all at once.

^ I agree. plus, a lot of people don't notice this unless they take off their stock rear bumper cover, or work back there...
there is a "flap" which will help make sure the cut-out is symetrical with the stock indentation.
