Silicone removal from headlights??? help

well i cleared my corners and must i say that the hardest part was getting the bezel apart. the headlights came apart like cake...
anyone know any good products to get the silicone off the lens i used some goo gone but i need something else

alot of heat and maybe a razor........really i dont think theres a product out thats made to remove silicone

I had some on mine....just some plain and simple glass cleaner with amonia took it right off, well that and some elbow grease.

my way is cheaper lol harder........but no spending money well maybe on bandaids and a possible trip to the hospital for stiches if your that careless hahaha!

yeh goo gone ate the chrome off my bezels.. didnt care though i was painting them =/

i put my lenses in the freezer and them chipped it all off with a flat screwdriver and the housing i heated up with a hairdryer and scraped it out with a screwdriver. it is time consuming clearing your corners but it well worth it. it cost me $3.00 for silicone.

So there's still silicone stuck to the lens of my headlight but on a positive side not I used the toothpast trick to cleans the foggieness and it helps a lot not like my headlight were really foggy but it did clear it up real good

yea i got it off one of these other forums and it was on the speed channel before it works to a certain extent cleared mine pretty good
