I also went and tried this out before i posted it up for ya ryen...sup with u.
Get some of the Kleen strip (orange can) Soak a small part of a rag in it( like the corner) wipe it on and rub....but right after u do be sure and wipe it back off..cuz that shit is STOUT and will melt your vents if you leave it to long.
And i got my goo gone extreme at wall mart. its in a metal can.

hehe yeah I used that klean strip stuff on the plastic pieces.... two minutes and those pieces start to turn to mush.... Lost a couple plastic pieces due to that.... Just use the Goo off stuff in the yellow can... It has a red cap on it too.... It works really good.... smells bad, but works!!!

If there small enough or you got a container big enough you can soak em in cheap brake fluid. I use it one model car bodies all the time and it never really hurts the plastic. Purple power and castrol super clean will do them same when used the same wa but these WILL eventually eat the plastic. Just fill the continer and submerge the whole part, wait a day or two then take em out and brush em off.

Its not worth the time to strip off the paint on the interior trims. Your better off getting another one at a junkyard. Plus chemicals eats the plastic like said already.
