Question Stupid foglights

Hey everyone I know this has been discussed many times, but I'm trying to get a really straight answer. I know our cars fog lights have leaking problems and many people have tried the silicon stuff to keep water out. From my understanding putting the sealant on doesn't not fix the leakage problem very long. Today I noticed my left fog light was not working. I took all the plastic apart and took a look at the light bulb. To my surprise the metal connectors on the light bulb were completely rusted out. One of the connectors rusted so bad it snapped in half. My question is there any way to permanently seal the light bulb housing? If not is there a more high quality fog light unit that is compatbile for our Alero's?

Hmm I never had problems with my fog lights, but I just ended up getting a different fog housing and wiring it up. I got a housing that fits H3 bulbs [I wanted yellow and non-HIDs], just needed different size brackets.. all the stock wiring was used
