okay, the olds emblem on the steering wheel... how is everyone painting it???...which is easier.. just hand painting it or masking it off and using some kind of roller?...or take steering wheel off , mask it, and spray it???... surely not.. help!

AlbinoMonkeyRat is on a distinguished road
I'm sure a steady hand with a stiff brush or a fine sponge is the best way to go. If you want, you can try out using some acrylic paints. If you don't like the look, you can rinse it off. Then use some more permanent paint, such as Testors model paint (oil-based).

I've heard of people painting them with nail polish...supposed to work out pretty good.

I like that idea... seems less likely for problems than anything else. Maybe I'll give it a try.

dadirtybulldog - as for the krylon fusion, I don't know if it'll take it off, but Canadian Tire here sells this great stuff called "Goof off"... comes in a metal container. That stuff took spraypaint and primer off of my computer case last summer when I was working on it... it wasn't fusion, but it could be worth a shot. My only concern in using that stuff though would be actually dissolving the plastic on the steering wheel... just thought that I'd warn you in advance that that crap is that strong!
