fan controls freezing up?

ok so over the past few days i havnt been able to get my interior fans to turn on in the morning, usualy after im done work later on in the afternoon they will turn on. i know the module needs to be replaced because only the 2 highest levels work but iv never heard of the controls working some times and not others. any ideas?

your fan motor is going bad. mine did the same thing before it finally doed altogether
