Fog Lights

Hey guys I have a '02 GX 2.2 Ectotec base model with no fog lights and I wanting to know something. I have fog lights picked out but I want to know if there is a way of hooking these up to the car where the fog lights come on with the night lights that automatically come on. If there is a way let me know. If you have to mess with the Control Modules or Computer pics would be appreciated. Or would be better just to put a seperate switch in. But I would like it where they automatic turned on. Or should I just have them run with Day Time Running Lights.
Thanks

You can splice them directly into the wires for the low beams so that when the low beams come on automatically, so will the fog lights. Or you can splice them into the tail light wires so they stay on whether the low beams or high beams are on.

The way they are originally hooked up requires them to be wired into the BCM, etc.. but you don't necessarily have to do it that way.

However, If you wanted it done this way, You'd end up finding a Wiring harness (Junker) with all the relays and whatnot. It'd be a pretty big headache. I'd just splice into the Tails for the best result.

Well, I have a whole front lighting harness yet to install. Primarily to switch the DRLs to the high-beams and to add fog lights.
