Intake question

Hey everybody,i am new to the site.i have been snooping around here about every day and really like what everybody here has put together!
I have a question about CAI that i havent seen anywhere else on this page for the 2.4.Where is the vacuum hose located to connect to the cold air intake? Is there even a vacuum hose on the 2.4? To hook up my CAI properly, is all i have to do is hook it up to the throtle body?

Ya you connect the tubing to the throttle body. Plug in the IAT sensor into a hole, get a rubber washer type thing to make it stay in. Connect the PCV hose (you'll see it when you remove the stock intake) to the tiny pipe sticking out the side of the CAI.

it comes out of the throttle body (or near there). once you see the butterfly valve (which is when the stock intake is completely off) you will be sure to see it.

^^Like he said

When you'll take out your stock air box and piping all the way to the Throttle body, you will see where the tube is.

the tube comes from the PCV baffle on the engine block above the oil filter and under the intake manifold. when you take off the stock one you'll see it because you have to disconnect it from the stock manifold

what will happen if you do not unplug this tube and install the CAI or WAI without it...will everything run fine?

it's part of the stock system you can't just unhook it and not realize that you did.
